Hina: The Lady of the Moon

Hina: The Lady of the Moon

The Guardian of the Lunar Cycle and Female Rhythm

🌿 The Pillar of Legend: The Celestial Traveler

Hina is the personification of the moon (Māhina). She is often associated with the demigod Māui—sometimes as his mother, sometimes as his sister. She controls the phases of the moon and watches over the night sky when her brother, the Sun, has gone to rest.

🔍 The Pillar of Connection: Timing and Tides

Hina teaches us about Cycles. Just as the moon grows and shrinks, our energy and the ocean's tides change too.
