We now offer a custom acrylic taonga & jewellery design service!

Many have loved our acrylic taonga & necklaces. We're now giving you the option to work with our talented designers, to bring your own custom designs to life!

We can create your own custom Taonga using your own school logo or core values you use in your curriculum. Perfect as graduation gifts or as products for fundraisers.

1. The Design Process

Our design team will work with you to make your idea a reality. We will work with you through email, digital file transfer, and video calls as we iterate on your design.

We do charge a standard design fee that covers a certain amount of design time and several iterations to ensure you're happy before we go to production.

2. Samples

Once you're happy with the design concepts, we'll go ahead and make a sample and send you high quality images to confirm production.

(Alternatively we can post you the sample for an additional cost)

3. Production

If you're happy with the sample and good to go... we move on to production!

Our manufacturing and production team will begin making your order.

4. Shipping

Once our production team have finished making all of your product, we pack it and courier it right to your door.

We aim to keep the process as simple as possible for you turn your idea into your very own custom taonga/acrylic jewellery design.

5. Future orders

We keep your design project safely backed up just in case you ever want to reorder that design again. Some schools order their custom design from us every year as graduation gifts for their students!

If you ever want more acrylic products produced, just let us know the quantity you would like and what colours. We'll take care of the rest!

FAQ & Things to keep in mind

Minimum Quantities

Due to the custom setup and production of this process, we do require a minimum order quantity of 20 items to go ahead with this job

Design Limitations

Our production process uses an industrial laser cutter which is a subtractive process. It removes material to create the final product. Because of this our designers have to consider the structural strength of the final design.

With this in mind, not all design elements are compatible with this process. Some logos or designs are simply too complex to translate into a laser cut format and we may need to simplify certain aspects of your logo.

Text can also be a tricky element at this size. Thin text can make the final product prone to breakage. Certain letters may also lose certain details as part of the subtractive process. But we'll work with you to get the design as close as we can to what you're wanting

Design Fees

We charge a standard design fee which must be paid at the beginning of the design process.

Our design fee is $300 and covers up to 4 iterations of your design and up to 12 hours of design time. This is a one off fee when starting your first order of a custom job. If you re-order this design again at a later time there is no design fee.

Please note the design fee is required up front to start the job and is non refundable. If you decide later in the process that you no longer want to go ahead with the custom job, the design fee will be forfeit

Storage Fee for Re-orders

After your custom job is completed we keep your project files safely backed up on site for up-to 5 years, just in case you wish to re-order this design with us again.

We do charge a small $10 fee on top of re-orders to help cover the digital storage costs of your backup. If you never re-order this design? No worries! You don't get charged, the fee only applies when you place another order for the same design.

Please keep in mind after 5 years with no re-orders, we can no longer confirm your designs will be kept in backup. They may be removed after this time to make space for other projects.
